Our Story
Trademark Polythene was founded in 2015 by company directors Mark Dodge and Wendy Dodge, who decided to establish their own family business. Prior to this, Mark had been a substantial shareholder and board member of another UK-based polythene manufacturer. When the majority shareholder, Nick Cansdale, reached retirement age, they mutually agreed to sell the company.
The business sale included a separate online packaging company established and managed by Mark’s wife, Wendy. With Mark’s experience in the polythene industry since the age of 17 and their combined expertise, they recognised an opportunity to offer a service that not only helps companies use the right products but also assists them in finding ways to save money.
